In Davis, California, Laura Murray had just left the bank when she realized she had locked her keys in her car.

First, she asked a delivery driver from the Fed-Ex next door if he could help. Then she grabbed a tool from a nearby delivery truck to smash the car window, without much luck.

In fact, that’s where she was still, when police arrived and took her – and the bag full of cash that she had just stolen from the bank – into custody.
